About
I never thought much about photography or framing a photo when I was younger. That is, until I got back a roll of film with heads and ceilings. I was about 12 and I realized that I took a terrible picture. It was years before I thought about taking another picture.
In high school, the bug started to hit, but I wasn’t sure I could do it. I watched my friends work in the darkroom, walk about campus with their cool cameras and create these amazing images.
College was when I decided to dive in again. Watching the photographers on staff at the Mount Holyoke News made me envious still, but motivated me to learn. I even enrolled in a photography class at Hampshire College and discovered that I could actually frame a photo, if I thought about it.
More than 10 years later, I’m still learning about photography and perfecting my images. I have gone the way of digital photography now and enjoy using Photoshop to enhance some of my images.
